Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not save those searches on our servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our host creates ordinary server logs, which may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps keep pages working and shows which resources visitors use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How Information Is Used
Automatic data helps us run the site, diagnose faults, assess traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above, and valid legal process may require disclosure. Visitor data is not shared for other purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as operational needs require. Since there are no visitor accounts, we hold no site password or user profile for you.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act of 2024, Commercial Law ยงยง 14-4601 through 14-4613, may give covered Maryland consumers rights to know, correct, delete, obtain, and limit qualifying personal data, including certain opt-out rights. We can search our contact mailbox and server logs for a request sent through the Contact page. Public records held by Frederick County, the City of Frederick, Maryland agencies, or courts remain outside our control; questions about those records must go to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after a revision takes effect means that you accept the new version.
